DataServices:ProteinExpression
From CVRG Wiki
Overview
The ProteinDB Data Service provides grid-enabled, secure access to protein expression data. The service consists of three main components:
- A PostgreSQL database as the backend system. This database based upon the HUPO Proteomic Standards Initiative Object Model (PSI-OM) data model.
- A caCORE SDK 4.0 generated server application. The object model for this application has been developed in UML using the Enterprise Architect system.
- A caGrid-compatible data service. This service allows grid-enabled, secure access to data serviced through the object model.
More detailed instructions for building and deploying the ProteinDB Data Service can be found here.
